Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, warns of two possible futures with AI: one positive, and one threatening. The main threats include unemployment, misuse of AI, and the risk of autonomous machines posing an existential threat. While some argue AI will never be truly creative, in fact, they already are.

About The Event

Mario De Caro is a Professor of Moral Philosophy at Roma Tre University and a

Visiting Professor at Tufts University. He has been a Fulbright Fellow at Harvard, a

Visiting Scholar at MIT, and is the current president of the Italian Society of Moral

Philosophy. De Caro has published over 200 scholarly articles and authored seven

books. His research covers ethics, philosophy of mind, metaphysics, and the history of

early modern philosophy. In 2006, asteroid 5329 was named "DeCaro" in his honor.
